About
Sara Candradhī Khorasani
I teach yoga, embodied movement and meditation classes and retreats, with an aim to make these practices easily accessible. As part of that, I offer classes on a donations basis.
At the core of what I teach is mindfulness based yoga, weaving a meditative element through my classes, as well as teaching formal sitting meditation.
A lifetime of movement practices influences my style, including dance, chi gong, Clinical Somatics and Feldenkrais. I completed my yoga teacher training with Bodhiyoga in 2018, and the Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga 20Hr Foundation Workshop in 2023. I continue to deepen my understanding and practice of spiritual traditions, particularly Buddhism, and was Ordained in 2022.
As well as teaching yoga, I facilitate group processes such as 'The Work That Reconnects'. I live in East Ayrshire, growing organic vegetables and an experimental 'Forest Garden', as well as native trees for rewilding and conservation projects.
